First opened on Market Street in April 2001, J T Brookes acts as a satellite office to the head office in Quarry Bank. Its aim is to make the job of arranging funerals in Kingswinford and the surrounding areas easier.

With the company entering into its fourth generation, it not only wants to continue working closely with its established local community but is also always looking to expand its services into new areas.

J R Jones Funeral Directors has been a member of the local community for over 80 years now and has long been looking after the needs of Lower and Upper Gornal, Sedgley and surrounding areas.

Formally known as Dainty & Downing, in 2020 following an extensive refurbishment, the premises were renamed J. R. Jones & Co. (Dudley) to bring it in line with our other funeral home of the same name in Gornal.
